Houston AMPF branch promotes local artist

A new art exhibition now opens to the public (till the end of September) at the AmeriPrise Financial branch office in Houston.

These selections of oil paintings are by local artist Claire Loft. Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Claire grew up watching her father painting, which inspired her the strong desire to create as a child. Claire became an artist with art education background; now she is a high school art teacher at St. Agnes Academy in Houston.

Claire is best known for her oil paintings with oyster as the subject matter, but she has expanded her work to various botanicals and abstract compositions. She loves playing with bright colors, bold lines and a mixture of textures and painting techniques.She continues to explore and discover new ways to improve her style.

Every six months, Bering Street Advisors (a branch of AmeriPrise Financial Services) rotate the artwork of selected artists in their newly upgraded office with ample wall space in the hall ways, which is ideal for art exhibitions.

They would like to partner with local high schools, colleges, and organizations so the artist can gain exposure. Its mission is to introduce local artists to general public, hoping to enhance their community services with this art program, in addition to their professional financial services.
